Elite Runners
We welcome elite runners and offer them registration to the event free of charge and VIP goodie bag from our sponsors.
We consider elite runners to be in the top-5 in their age group or top-10 overall.
We encourage all genders to apply! Each year we select up to five elite runners before the end of April
Ambassadors
Want to be an ambassador? You don't have to be an elite runner to be an ambassador.
If this fits your profile, then we encourage you to apply!
- Active social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok, etc.)
- Frequent participation in other running events over the year,
- Active and supportive within the running community,
- Excitement and enthusiasm for Islandsbanki's Reykjavik Marathon
Our ambassadors receive registration free of charge, the possibility of free accommodation and VIP goodie bag from our sponsors.
Each year we will select 1-2 ambassadors before the end of April.
